Closing of Accounts for 2024
At its meeting on Friday, 9 May 2025, the local council voted by majority and approved the 2024 financial report. The report shows a net result of € -865,574.13 in the budget. However, the council was once again able to pay down its debt.

The Fuchs Family Exhibition at the Stadtmuseum Klosterneuburg
Internationally renowned architect and artist Michael Fuchs has lived and worked just a short stroll from the Stadtmuseum Klosterneuburg for many years. This special exhibition provides a captivating, cross-generational insight into the works of the Fuchs family. The exhibition will be open to the public at the Stadtmuseum on Kardinal-Piffl-Platz from 7 June to 14 September.
Road Works and Railway Closures
Road works on the L118, which is closed near Höflein, are expected to be completed by the summer. The Road Construction Department 2 of Lower Austria plans to complete the complex slope stabilisation work and open the road by the end of June. The Western Railway Line will not be operating until 5 June due to repairs following the September 2024 flooding.
